The Keys to Success program is administered through participating high schools. Students have the chance to qualify for a KeyCard that entitles them to incentive awards from several sponsors. The local high school administration is responsible for the exact qualifications, which may include excellence in any of the following areas:
A Key Card is a gift certificate of sorts. The recipient of a KeyCard can access the KTS website and choose from a myriad of tickets or vouchers for participation in any number of events.
Teachers, Administration and Counselors can nominate recipients throughout the school year.
The best part of the program happens at the end of the school year. This is where a Free Car comes in! During the last two months of school the school administration, teachers and counselors assemble and select 50 students from the pool of KeyCard recipients at that school. These selected students will then randomly compete for a chance to win a car (valued at $4-5,000) at a Keys to Success year-end assembly.
"Education is a driving force in my life. My family came from (very!) modest means, but from my early days in the Cambridge Public Schools I learned that there is no limit to what you can achieve when you better yourself through education. My greatest achievement has been helping to raise 3 college graduates, but I also take great pride in how education has helped me create a successful business which provides quality jobs and is a positive force in the community. Our hope here at Village Automotive is that Keys to Success helps motivate kids to see the limitless potential which awaits them when they strive to achieve in school."
